Dr Celso Cardona
Dr Celso is the Principal Dentist at Maven Dental Inner West Sydney (formerly Frame Dental). Since his father and brother are both dentists, Celso has been in touch with dentistry since childhood and has worked in 2 other locations in Sydney before becoming the Principal Dentist at Maven Dental Inner West Sydney.
With over 12 years of experience in all forms of general dentistry, Dr Celso also has a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and Cosmetic Facial Enhancements. His other area of expertise is root canal treatment. He is often referred patients by other dentists when a case is too difficult, and he also travels as a consultant dentist to other practices.
Dr Celso is a former trainer of the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics (AADFA), being fully qualified in the use of anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers for facial enhancements. He is also an accredited Invisalign and Inman Aligner Provider. Celso is also furthering his education at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, in Miami.
Committed to his professional development, Dr Cardona has completed the curriculum of additional education at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dentistry in Miami. He has additionally completed training in the area of facial aesthetics that sees him qualified in the use of anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers for facial enhancements. Currently, Dr Cardona is furthering his studies at the Kois Center in Seattle.

Dr Josephine Ha
Dr Josephine graduated from the University of Otago with honours in 2005. Her experience over the 14 years include working alongside top maxillofacial surgeons, orthodontists and plastic surgeons, in order to bring the best of all specialties together for the benefit of her patients. You will often hear her say ‘a beautiful smile is more than just teeth’, and as such, her special interests include nose, lip and chin enhancements to balance a facial profile in the most natural way, as well as using non invasive techniques to straighten your teeth.
Josephine is an accredited provider of Invisalign and Inman Aligners. She is also a former trainer of the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics (AADFA) and for many years she taught other dentists non-surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation. Dr Josephine is currently furthering her orthodontic skills with focus on techniques to improve bites and facial balance on growing children to their best genetic potential.
With her calm and gentle demeanor, she is popular with adults and children alike and is passionate about approaching cosmetic dentistry in the most conservative and comprehensive way, while tailoring it to suit each of her patients’ individual needs.
Dr Marc Logarta
Specialist Anaesthetist, Dr Marc Logarta, offers extensive experience in providing anaesthesia and acute pain management services for a range of surgical specialities, including dental surgery. Dr Logarta feels privileged to be entrusted with someone’s care during surgery and truly enjoys being part of the surgical team to ensure patients have a safe and comfortable experience.
Since initially completing his Doctorate in Medicine in 1999 at the University of Southern California, Dr Logarta has continued his professional development, completing his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of California Los Angeles in 2007 and his Anaesthetic Training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in 2010. He is additionally a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr Logarta’s impressive work experience spans across both public and private sectors. Alongside his role at Maven Dental Inner West Sydney, he is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Sydney and a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales where he actively teaches medical students. He is also involved in multiple areas of research in anaesthesia and has published several book chapters and journal articles.
Over the years, Dr Logarta has held appointments at Westmead Private Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Strathfield Private Hospital, St George Private Hospital, University of California, Hunters Hill Private Hospital and Sydney Private Hospital. Additionally, he has worked in the roles of Deputy Director of the Department of Anaesthetics at Campbelltown, Anaesthetic Advisor to the Clinical Stream for the South Western Sydney Local Health District.
Dr John Michael
After a short stint in finance and early plans to become a pilot, John decided he wanted to become a dentist and help create beautiful, healthy smiles for his patients.
Before making the move to our Burwood based practice, Dr Michael studied his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney graduating in 2018. John has experience treating patients of all walks of life. He has previously practiced at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health, Nepean Hospital and the Sydney Dental Hospital. During his time at USyd he also enjoyed a placement in the rural NSW town of Ballina.
John loves building trust and fostering relationships with his patients. He is passionate about being able to truly understand what a patient wants from their treatment, assessing their motivation and working in harmony with them to achieve their dental goals.
Dr Michael is a talented dentist that has a keen interest in endodontics. In 2018, the Australian Society of Endodontics awarded him the Anthony P Martin prize for Proficiency in Clinical Endodontics. He is also passionate about fixed prosthodontics (crowns bridges, and veneers) and oral surgery.
Away from Maven Dental Inner West Sydney, you’ll find John exploring Sydney’s national parks, on the pitch playing football, or searching for the perfect coffee. John co-founded a football club in Melbourne in 2013 and still helps the local team whenever he can.
Nadia is qualified in both dental therapy and dental hygiene. She completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at Sydney University and is trained in all aspects of the treatment of children under 18 years and in the gum care of all adults. She loves being able to have a positive impact on her patients’ lives through preventative dentistry.
As a therapist Nadia educates both children and their parents on oral hygiene practices and diet. As our resident hygienist Nadia looks after our patients oral hygiene, teeth cleaning, whitening and preventative procedures.
Alongside her role within the practice, Nadia is a board member of the Maronite on Mission Australia charity group. She loves volunteering her time and skills in countries like the Philippines where she is able to provide quality dental care to local communities. If you see her in the practice, be sure to ask her about her volunteer work.
Suzie is an experienced Oral Health Therapist with over 30 years’ experience working in the dental industry. Beginning her career at just 16, she worked as a dental nurse in a number of practices across Australia and London before following her passion and becoming an oral health therapist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy from the Westmead University and has been working in dental therapy for 15 years.
As an oral health therapist, Suzie is passionate about having a positive impact on her patients’ lives through great oral health. She places a strong emphasis on developing strong relationships with her patients and educating them on the importance of maintaining excellent dental health. While enjoying all aspects of her role, she has a keen interest in the areas of peri-implantitis, periodontal disease, sleep disorders, growth guidance issues in children and diet and nutrition issues of the mouth.
Noelia is the friendly and compassionate practice manager at Maven Dental Inner West. Coming from the hotel industry, Noelia understands the importance of patient experience and is passionate about providing patients with exceptional customer service. Whether it’s your first time visiting the practice or your fourth, Noelia’s bright and compassionate personality will certainly leave you feeling welcomed and at ease.
Front Office Coordinator
Lindel joined the Maven Dental team in 2013 as a dental assistant and receptionist. Lindel is very committed to providing all patients with exceptional customer service. With either a big smile on her face or her friendly phone manners, she instantly makes patients feel comfortable and relaxed. She also loves being part of a practice where she has the opportunity to continuously learn and grow.
Senior Dental Nurse
Leanne was welcomed to Maven Dental in 2012 as a friendly, caring dental nurse, having completed her Diploma in Dental Assisting at the Australian Business College. Leanne is a skilled dental assistant and is exceptionally friendly with patients. If you’re not lucky enough to see her bubbly face in the surgery, she is often busy multitasking and doing valuable work in our dental laboratory.
Maven Dental Inner West Sydney welcomed Imbert to the team as a friendly and driven dental assistant. Imbert is passionate about meeting new patients and making them feel welcomed in the practice. He loves learning about all things dental and enjoys furthering his skills and knowledge whenever he can.
Liz is one of the highly skilled dental assistants at Maven Dental Inner West. She holds a Certificate III in Dental Assisting (Westmead Hospital, 2009) and has gained over 10 years’ valauble experience working across a number of practices and areas of dentistry. Liz is a bright and bubbly member of the team who loves meeting new patients and getting to know their unique stories. She is excited about working alongside a talented team to help deliver the best treatment possible to patients.
